2010 ACAPS Individual and Team Champions

The 2010 ACAPS wrapped up in Dothan on September 11th.  The winners for each category won the first ever state series jersey, and will be allowed to wear it in all events in the state next year.  Congratulations to the following winners:

Dothan CityFest Details Announced 

The first Dothan CityFest Criterium has been unveiled, and will take place on Saturday, September 11th.  The 2010 edition will feature a $19,500 prize purse, which does not include the non-cash prizes.  The prize purse will definitely entice top level competition to come to Alabama, so this will be a great opportunity to catch some of the most talented cyclists in the United States.  The event will be held in the downtown area on a fast, four corner course that will provide lots of excitement.  You can go to www.dothancityfest.com for more details on all of the events taking place that weekend.

This event will also be the finale of the ACAPS Series, so you will want to attend this event.  The last race will feature a double points value, so everything can change in this final event.

AL Criterium State Championship

The state criterium championship will be the new Tour de Health Crit, in Mobile on May 22nd.  Please go to the race website for more details, and to pre-register for this event.
